Making, Making Do and Mending October Linky

Oh My Goodness.
October.
Very officially Autumn, and well on the way to Christmas…Eeeek!

Apologies for the lack of a linky last month-September kind of ran away with me…
The idea is that we all share each month what we are Making, Making Do with, and Mending, and if you have a blog, you can link up your posts for us all to come and see! (If you don’t have a blog, please still share by leaving a comment 🙂 )
I’ll do my best to share all your posts and pics on the Make Do and Mend-able Twitter feed, and also on the FB page, so we can spread the Make Do and Mend love!

So here’s mine for this month:

BigSmall has his birthday at the beginning of October, so I have spent the last couple of week immersed in all things Lego Star Wars…! I’ll do a full blog post all about it later this week, but for now, here are a few peeks!

Making

  • Lego men crayons for party bags
    Lego Star Wars Party1
  • Ewok poos from fudge…
    Lego Star Wars Party2
    Lego Star Wars Party3

Making Do

  • With Christmas gift bags instead of plastic party bags-note the cunningly placed pictures of Star Wars ships (I should know the names of them. I don’t though.) over the top of the Christmas baubles….
    Lego Star Wars Party4

Mending

  • I’m racking my brains for any mending-I think I have neglected the mending pile recently, and it is mounting up!
I did manage to darn some more of hubby’s socks in my very inexpert manner one evening in front of the TV.
AND hubby mended the toaster, after it fused the whole house…!
But I have no pics of either-sorry!

Right then, over to you!
Click on the froggy (?) pic to add your links, and to view all the links that have been added. If you don’t have a blog but still want to join in, then leave a comment below 🙂

    • I did-I got some 2ndhand from E-bay, but a word of warning-if you use them for crayons, it is nigh on impossible to get the wax residue out. I reserved ours for food things (like lego chocolates) and borrowed my friend’s one that she had already used for crayons!

  1. Glad you put this post up on facebook as I still can’t follow you on wordpress. Anyway, this week I’ve been making chutney with many of my own ingredients. And last week I managed to mend some clothes which have been sitting there for a while.
