Another E-book update!

I blogged a few weeks ago about all the contributors on board so far for my Back to Basics Make Do and Mend e-book.
I had 15 wonderful, amazing people on board last time, and I can now reveal the next ‘wave’ of contributors!

  • Sewing on Buttons
Zoe Robinson from The Good Wardrobe
    The Good Wardrobe
I am sooooo excited that Zoe has agreed to contribute to the book. The Good Wardrobe is one of my absolute favourite sites, and if you haven’t checked it out, you really really must!
  • Upholstery
Becky Striepe from Crafting a Green World
    CAGW 200x200 copy
Another of my all time have sites is this one, so you can imagine how much I jumped up and down and yes, I squealed a bit, when Becky said that she would be happy to do a chapter on re-covering some chairs!
  • Bright Sparks-Islington’s Repair and Reuse Shop

I have to confess to struggling a bit to fill this spot, but on the recommendation of another fixer, I gave these guys a shout, and spoke to the super helpful, and very keen Oneil!
The shop sounds amazing-you can drop in your small electrical items, and they have a team of local volunteers who will repair it. Or you can donate unwanted items for them to sell. It’s like a permanent Repair Cafe!
  • Sugru
    By Sugru!

I have blogged before about Sugru, and how amazing it is, and how you can use it to fix loads of different stuff, and even to ‘hack’ things to make them work better.
Well, I am over the moon to say that the fabulous team there are contributing a chapter all about Sugru, and what you can fix with it!
    Wooohooooooo!

You may have guessed, I am more than a little excited at how this is shaping up.
I have one more spot to confirm, and then I will announce, with virtual drum-rolls and everything, the full list.
And I may even give you a sneak preview of the front cover….!

  1. Wow, what a lot of great contributors. Are they all doing it for free, or are you doing some kind of profit share? Either way, I am really looking forward to the outcome

    • Thanks Lesley. It’s all being done with an affiliate scheme, so that the contributors get a percentage of any books that they sell
