After My Make Do and Mend Year was featured as the Guardian’s Sustainable Blog of the Week, I was contacted by a lady called Donna, in the US of A.
Donna is a presenter on an online radio station called Survival Mom, and presents a programme called “Surviving on Shoestrings”. She wrote to ask me if I would like to appear on the show, to tell their listeners all about My Make Do and Mend Year.
I said “Yes” and after a little bit of checking of timezones, we managed to figure out a time when we could get together, and have a chat. I had a mild stress trying to work out the dialling code for the call, but I overcame my technical ineptitude, and we had a lovely chat!
