I hope you all coped with the suspense ok….
The task (in case you had forgotten) was to Upcycle this cardboard packaging from our lovely energy efficient, mercury-free, LED Groovebulb.
The most obvious thing that spings to mind is obviously some kind of pen holder. But I wanted to be a bit more inventive than that. So where do you head when you need a bit of (P)inspiration…? Pinterest of course!
I set up a Cardboard tubes Pinterest board-you can see it here.
These are some of my favourite ideas….

Bracelets! Although when I looked again at the tube, it is a bit narrow to fit over a big person’s hand I think. Photo from eighteen25

A gorgeous heart. From the kraft farm
I did think it would be fun to see how many different things I could make from the one tube, but I may have run out of time…
So we didn’t do any of that in the end.
Hubby helped me, and we made a garden tidy/store thing with a very nifty string dispenser attached!
We even made the plant labels from an old tupperware lid-hope you are all impressed!
The ‘how-to’ that I did for Groovebulb is here just in case you were were desperate to try and make one for yourself….
Brilliant idea with the string dispenser attached. I didn’t realise you had been press-ganged into this as well!
I saw yours on Monday-WAY more inventive than mine-weel done 🙂
Indispensable ! One step beyond a desk tidy & with a string dispenser ❤ it !
Thanks Vivienne!
Like the string dispenser 🙂
Thanks Hazel-I can take no credit for it I’m afraid-was hubby’s idea!
